The Two Most Memorable Covers are……

Published December 15, 2012 by moniquefearon

#2 Nevermind by Nirvana

#1 Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles

Why?

#2- The album cover was controversial as it shows a baby jumping in the pool for money.

#1- The album was controversial as  many of the people pictured in the cover were  well known people and were personal heroes of the Beatles or people they admired.

This research will impact on my final product (album covers) as it allows me to use these album covers as an inspiration  for my own album cover.

How is Music Marketed?

Published November 5, 2012 by moniquefearon

Research is taken from: http://answers.bloglines.com/Finance/how_do_you_calculate_maturity_risk_premium/How_is_Music_Marketed

“Music is marketed in many different ways. A few of the methods of marketing music is by advertising on radio, making music videos, magazine articles, and promotional parties. The term music marketing developed from the original meaning which referred literally to going to market, as in shopping, or going to a market to sell goods or services.”

This research will impact on my final product (music video) as it helps me to understand how music is marked. This is something I can perhaps think about when i’m uploading my music video.
